On Tuesday 12th November, BCA Inform was held to discuss shaping a plan for accessible information and communication in line with the Federal Government’s work on developing an Associated Plan for Information and Communication. The session commenced with our much-loved guest speaker, Lauren Henley, who provided an overview of her landmark case with the United Nations Human Rights Commission. Then we heard from Jackson Reynald Ryan, BCA’s Senior Policy Officer, who offered a policy update on the Disability Royal Commission’s Recommendation 6.1.

Then attendees had the opportunity to share their thoughts and insights. Finally, Lauren and Jackson discussed next steps and how members can stay active and get involved.
